Jason Bruges Studio Appointed for Cambridge Science Park Commission
Jason Bruges Studio has been appointed to develop and deliver a new permanent public artwork for the Cambridge Science Park.
Since it was established by Trinity College in 1970, the Cambridge Science Park has played a pivotal role in the “Cambridge Phenomenon” – the transformation of Cambridge from a market town with a world-class university to one of the leading technology hotspots in the world.
Jason Bruges Studio has become internationally renowned for producing innovative installations, interventions and ground breaking works. This practice involves creating interactive spaces and surfaces that sit between the world of architecture, site specific installation art and interaction design.
The permanent commission is part of a wider public art programme developed by Commission Project which aims to create a dynamic focus in this important, developing area of the City, celebrating both its local and global context.
